Benit William GEORGE (1837-1918) was born to William and Ann GEORGE in 1837.
He married Sarah KIRKLAND on 16 January 1865. They had four daughters and Sarah died in 1875.
In just the following year, 1876, Benit married Matilda Harvey (née DYSON) at Running Stream.
Benit and Matilda had eleven children:
William Benit, Alfred James, Owen Beecham, Thomas Alexander, Charles Henry, Ethal Caroline, James "Roy", Rupert Stanley, Douglas Dyson, Edith Georgjna, Olive Amy
