Wal's belief was that sharing history was the best way to create a living history for Rylstone and the surrounding district. The was taken about 1936-1940, as the child in the front is Russell (born 1929), youngest son of Gertrude & Allan KIRKLAND.

The woman behind Minnie looks to be May WEBB (nee KIRKLAND), sister to Minnie, Cliff, Fanny, Olive and Allan. Suspect that the person taking the photo is Stanley Webb, husband to May and brother of Alf. Sidney KIRKLAND's (half-brother to Mary Clara's other children) first name was spelled Sydney on his birth certificate.
