The woman behind Minnie looks to
be May WEBB (nee KIRKLAND), sister to Minnie, Cliff, Fanny, Olive and Allan.
Suspect that the person taking the photo is Stanley Webb, husband to May and
brother of Alf. Sidney KIRKLAND's (half-brother to Mary Clara's other children)
first name was spelled Sydney on his birth certificate.

This is a generational photograph of the Kirklands.
ReplyDeleteThe person on the left in this photo is identified (on the reverse of the photograph in the handwriting of Fanny Marchant), as "Dick", her brother Richard Kirkland.
2. is Janet May, known as Olyve or Ollie.
9. is Clifton.
Regards,
Amanda Rowe, daughter of Jill Wilson (nee Marchant)
Janet ANN not Janet May!
Delete*correction - "Dick" is Stephen Richard Kirkland, rather than simply Richard. Although, he may have been known as Dick or Richard.
