The was taken about 1936-1940, as the child in the front is Russell (born 1929), youngest son of Gertrude & Allan KIRKLAND.

The woman behind Minnie looks to be May WEBB (nee KIRKLAND), sister to Minnie, Cliff, Fanny, Olive and Allan. Suspect that the person taking the photo is Stanley Webb, husband to May and brother of Alf. Sidney KIRKLAND's (half-brother to Mary Clara's other children) first name was spelled Sydney on his birth certificate.

    This is a generational photograph of the Kirklands.
    The person on the left in this photo is identified (on the reverse of the photograph in the handwriting of Fanny Marchant), as "Dick", her brother Richard Kirkland.
    2. is Janet May, known as Olyve or Ollie.
    9. is Clifton.

    *correction - "Dick" is Stephen Richard Kirkland, rather than simply Richard. Although, he may have been known as Dick or Richard.
