Michelle OLDFIELD (nee FULLER) has pointed out a related article referring to this photo in 1923, fifteen years after the original article and photo was published. The article reads:

"RYLSTONE FARMERS AND SETTLERS.

We have before us a group photo graph of the Rylstone Farmers and Settlers' Association as the branch was constituted when Mr Allan Saxelby was the enthusiastic "whip" of the Rylstone party and Mr. J. R. Fletcher the "head serang." Going over the faces in the picture one realises how busy the hand of death has been. Were the roll called to-day, the absentees would be the late Mr. John Lloyd (countryman of Mr. Lloyd George), William Black, "Brookside," Bylong road; Michael Sheridan, Glen Lea, Narrango; Fred Fuller, Bylong road; George Staff; Samuel G. Benson, the first shire president, and a live man in Rylstone; and one of the district Pioneers, George Mason, of Tea Tree Flat. On the whole the group comprises gentlemen representative, of Rylstone's pioneer settlers and well-to-do freeholders."
