Note: J. FOLPP was originally recorded as J. PHOLEP; however, as pointed out by John FITZGERALD, this is most likely J. FOLPP.
Could perhaps J Pholep be a misnamed Folpp, a pioneer family from Giants Creek nearby to Sandy Hollow between Denman and Merriwa, originally migrants from Germany in the 1840s, then vine dressers, dairy farmers and thence a bus proprietor in the Sandy Hollow area?
