Building Description:
A single storey slab and stone cottage set back from the street is situated on the land adjacent to the group of shops referred to as Jackson's comer.

 Historic Research:
The house is likely to be the first home of John Wesley Jackson in Rylstone. Jackson arrived at Rylstone in the early 1860's.
