Early Lime Kiln

Lime was an important component of the local cement industry and extensive limestone deposits are located in the Rylstone Shire.

The Lime Kiln is the first Lime Kiln at Kandos, and was constructed in 1914, and producing lime in 1915, even before Cement was produced in 1916.
